I found, as a "tester", that this product was OK, for shampoos. I say "tester" because I have often tested and tried many different shampoos for the sake of reviewing(sort of like that "I play a doctor on TV but I am not one" line). This is an OK, usable shampoo for me. Motions at Home Lavish Shampoo suits the needs of my very fragile hair, which has been traumatized at times by some of the other products which I have tried.The only thing I must note which is odd is that this shampoo requires that you use it weekly.That is weird. Possibly it is because the target audience for this shampoo is not in my demographic.It also says if you get it in your eyes, it can be irritating and you should quickly wash it out with water. I DID have to do that! I am not crazy about that aspect because I had a cataract in my right eye which was removed last spring, around a half a year ago. I don't need irritations in my eye, which has a plain lens in it now.Finally, and this is even odder, it says it makes "lavish bubbles". It makes NO bubbles that I could see, possibly because I was trying so hard to keep my eyes closed but more likely because it simply ... MADE... NO... BUBBLES.And we do not have weird water.I gave the companion product to this, which you can see under conditioner pudding, same brand, higher stars.My brush went through my wet hair really well after using that.

I am a shower-and-go sort of person with thick, shoulder length hair that usually have a mind of their own. If I use the wrong sort of product on them, they will do funky things the next day and no amount of brushing will rectify the problem. So, as you might imagine, I was a bit apprehensive about trying this product. But I am glad I did.It washes and conditions as advertised--and the next day (I usually shower before going to sleep) my hair is soft and manageable. My hair does not have the sheen that is advertised; on the other hand the Motions shampoo and conditioner is gentle on my hair coloring and does not bleach it away like some other products do. And it lasts a long time. I think it will easily last the entire month and maybe longer--and I use a bit of product every wash. Which, of course, makes it good value for money.All in all, I am quite pleased with it.

To me the smell of this was just plain offensive, it actually made me feel nauseous. I did use it once but had to re wash my hair three times to get the very strong smell out of my hair. Apparently this is for coarse ethnic hair which was not clear from the description but when I went to the product website it shows only models of color. After learning that, it of course was not intended for fine blond hair, so I won't bother with details on how bad it performed on my hair type, lets just say I looked like I stuck my finger in an electric outlet! No matter who this was intended for, the smell is just way too much for me but thats just my opinion.
