I don't have super oily hair but by mid-day to end of work day my hair usually starts to get a bit oily and looks quite different than right out of the shower. Living in a really dry climate and using hard water has also left me with some scalp dryness too so I was looking for a shampoo that addressed both dry scalp and oily hair. Well, this did not do the trick. The first few days were decent as my hair felt and looked a bit different but after about a week it reverted to some "flake-age" and of course the oily look again throughout the day. It has a nice mild smell but again, it seemed that it didn't go very far amount-wise and with a small bottle it really seemed to go fast (I have rather short hair too!)So, even though it seemed to work a few days I ultimately would never buy this shampoo or brand again, even after having used the entire bottle. It seems expensive for the amount you need to use and as small a bottle as it comes in. I have since tried out the American Crew Daily shampoo and this has been wonderful. My hair looks waaaaaay better throughout the day and it doesn't get very oily at all and I no longer have any kind of flakes!! So, it hit a home-run with me and I highly recommend it and the conditioner that accompanies it.Ultimately, I don't think I like this brand in general. I have tried some skin care products from them too and just haven't been pleased. Anyway, hope this helps!!

The stuff works and it's appropriate for everyday use (just as it's aptly named). I did have a concern that the scent would be overpowering. However, it only has a hint of peppermint when lathered up. After a thorough rinse, I can't smell any lingering odor. At the current price-point it might be a little expensive for everyday shampoo. But if you want a different showering experience than regular, off the shelf shampoo (and have a portion of the proceeds from this product go to increasing prostate cancer awareness), then it's worth the premium.

I like this more than most shampoos in its class. I wish it had a little more peppermint tingle though. I love the at tingle! the minty smell is nice and it doesnt seem to dry out the scalp too bad. I am not sure if it helps with dandruff but it doesnt seem to make it worse. I still think that Tea Tree is a better mint shampoo though
