As a young teen, my daughter began to struggle with excessive oil in her hair. We tried a variety of shampoos and she washed her hair daily, but still by the end of the school day her hair was oily. On top of the oil in her hair, she began to also have issues with dandruff. Several different beauticians recommended Fantasia Shampoo IC Tea. I was a little reluctant because tea shampoos normally create a tingling sensation on the scalp and have an odd smell, both of which would discourage my daughter from using it. However, we gave it a try. The result was no more dandruff and she could go at least 24 hours without her hair becoming oily. The shampoo does not tingle and the smell is different, but pleasant. I describe it as a light sweet bubble gum like scent.That same school year, my daughter participated in a school science fair. Her project was to determine if different tea shampoos changed the tensile strength of human hair. We were quite surprised by the results. Fantasia Shampoo IC Tea easily came out on top making the hair much stronger than the other shampoos did. Just for fun we also compared it to my normal shampoo. I have dreadlocks and I use the Fantasia IC 100% Pure Tea Shampoo periodically as my clarifying shampoo. It smells amazing and if very effective at cleansing the hair without leaving it stripped.
