By Amber M.
I LOVE this shampoo! Since September, I've been searching high and low for a shampoo that will remove flakiness, product build up and be gentle in my relaxed hair and this product fits the bill! I was fortunate to discover this product at one of my local Sephora stores approximately 2 weeks ago and I'm glad that I decided to give it a chance. This is one of the very few shampoos that lives up to its promise. It's definitely appropriate for dry hair and scalp and I love how it has a creamy texture. In my experience, runny/liquidy type shampoos are rough and drying on my relaxed hair. Creamy shampoo types are the way to go. Even BEFORE rinsing out the shampoo, I could feel how soft my hair was and after rinsing out the product, I was actually able to comb through my hair with ease (using a regular size comb) BEFORE applying conditioner! This shampoo combined with Ojon Tawaka Conditioner makes my hair amazingly soft and frizz free! If it wasn't for the ridiculous high price (i.e., $30 CAD), I would have rated this shampoo a 5-star. Finally, I would definitely recommend this shampoo to anyone with dry hair and scalp.

I live in the NE and have fine hair. I bought this shampoo thinking that it would hydrate my hair during the winter without weighing it down. It certainly left me with lots of body, but my hair looks like I just used a clarifying shampoo. It's more dried out than when I use my regular shampoo (Fekai's Glossing Shampoo). I love the Carthame mask, so I'm quite surprised. Maybe it will be OK in the summer, when my roots get oily, but for the winter this will not work for me.

By C. Wilson
This product was recommended for my very dry, brittle hair. It doesn't make much lather but it left my hair soft and silky with plenty of body. My hair improved so much that after a few weeks I found I didn't even need to use a conditioner afterward, and normally I need a masque after shampooing to get the same effect. It was great to hear so many compliments from total strangers on how beautiful my hair looked. This product is well worth every penny.
