I was recently the victim of a bad hair color job, so I went on a quest to find a bottle of Prell because I heard it fades demi-permanent hair color quickly. Not only did it do that (whew!) but it also gave me the bounciest, cleanest hair I've ever had (and I have thick, course, normally frizz-prone hair). My bad color is gone, my scalp itch is gone, and I don't have to wash my hair every other day -- once it's washed, baby, it's washed! Just finish off with a light, detangling conditioner and you're done. Goodbye, pricey salon shampoos with rosemary (itchy!) and lavender (yawn). I'm in love with my $2 bottle o' green clean -- which I remember fondly from the 1970s. 8-)

I have wild unruly curly hair that I have to use tons of product to control. To say I have product build-up issues--is putting it mildly. I should be the person who uses a clarifying shampoo regularly, but up to this point I hadn't (which was probably contributing to my hair's unruly condition).However, recently I used a brand of hair spray that left my hair particularly crunchy that several washes of my expensive salon shampoo couldn't seem to remove. I scoured the internet for clarifying shampoos, and was almost tempted to try some expensive shampoos that claimed to remove build-up. Thankfully I read about Prell being able to do as good, if not better, of a job at a fraction of the cost!! I picked some-up, and quickly gave it a try. My hair has never felt so clean. Not only was the stickiness/stiffness of the hair spray gone, but the coated feeling that Curls Rock (curling creme/gel) leaves behind was gone too. My hair was so clean that it literally squeaked!!! I didn't use any conditioner (not wanting to gunk up my hair again) and used a light detangler/leave-in conditioner when combing my hair. The bounciness/lightness of my hair was undeniable--most importantly, my hair didn't even feel dry or brittle.This product to me is pure (green) gold! I will use it at least once a week from now on to keep my hair feeling as nice as it does right now.

I have fond memories of Prell and I haven't been able to find it in years! I was so glad someone on Amazon is selling it. It makes my hair super managable and smells great! Use with or without conditioner. Great shampoo!
