I purchased this shampoo along with the hydrating conditioner. I noticed after a few uses that my hair color was fading and my hair didn't feel the same. I first suspected the conditioner, so I compared a dime sized amount of the conditioner on a paper towel next to some of the original biosilk conditioner I bought at a beauty supply store.The color and the consistency were not the same. When I realized that the conditioner was counterfeit, I immediately suspected the same with the shampoo. I repeated the same test with the original biosilk shampoo. The fragrances were similar, and both were clear... however again, the consistency was not the same. I also noticed that the later of this shampoo was not the same as the lather of the original biosilk.As such, I believe that this is not the same shampoo as I purchased at the beauty supply store, even though the bottle is the same.Do not purchase this product. You don't know what they filled that bottle with, but I'm pretty sure it is not biosilk. There's a reason that this shampoo is so much cheaper than other venders.

I ordered Biosilk Therapy Shampoo, but received Biosilk Conditioner instead. The dealer was very gracious and let me keep the product and credited my account for the incorrect product.

This shampoo smells awesome!! It works great for all hair types. It leaves your hair soft, shiny and smelling great! I'm picky with hair products.. And this is my new favorite!
