An excellent product - I love the subtle scent and it adds just a touch of reddish highlights to my hair. I have sensitive skin and scalp and this product is gentle for them as well.

I used this product in between having my hair highlighted at the salon. My hair has a natural red tone to it and this shampoo helps blend the highlights with my natural color. I love the way the subtle reds help hid my unsightly roots. I did find that the shampoo does leave it feeling a bit dry, but I can counter-act the dryness if I use a half and half mix of this product with my normal one.

This product is an orange-red, not a blue-red tone. I use a blue-red hair color and this gave my hair a yellow-ish tinge for which I did not care. It would be nice if Aveda had more diversity of color offerings.I formerly used ARTec (later L'Oreal Professionnel) color depositing shampoos/conditioners and they were the BEST for adding color to hair. Sadly, L'Oreal has seen fit to discontinue this amazing product and I find myself adrift without a replacement for the shampoo I've been using for nearly EIGHT years.I was really hoping Aveda had the solution to my problem, but sadly, they do not.
