*****I had dyed platinum hair that had to be shampooed with a so-called "purple" shampoo to preserve the color. Color Reflect Platinum Shampoo was my favorite of all of the purple shampoos that I tried because it has a pleasant fragrance, left my hair nice and soft (so that I didn't always have to use conditioners), and has no bad chemically odors (like many purple shampoos). Something else I enjoyed about this shampoo is that although it was strong enough to keep the gold out of my platinum hair, it never dyed my hands, fingernails, or the area around the inside of my bathtub, unlike other purple shampoos. It smells and feels very natural.I like the Color Reflect conditioner too, but preferred to use it only on dry parts of my hair when they need it. I usually used just the shampoo without the conditioner because it kept my hair clean and bouncy and I only had to wash it every third day.Great product!*****

I decided to buy this Shikai shampoo while on a visit to Madison, WI. The lady who showed me products for gray or silver hair said this was earth-friendly, low-lather, and would mute yellow tints in my hair. Apparently it must, as two people have recently mentioned that my silver hair looks especially nice, and I have not done anything unique with it except use the shampoo. The aroma is pleasant and mild, and it rinses out quickly. I am satisfied. Plus, a little amount goes a long way---you don't need gobs of it to wash your tresses.
