I've been using head & shoulders dandruff shampoo for years. I know that it works because sometimes I take a shower at the gym on days that I work so I have to use the gym shampoo. If I do this too many days in a row without taking a shower at home and using the head and shoulders, my head starts to itch and then comes the dandruff. So, it definitely works. No doubt about it. SIDE NOTE: Shampoos with tea tree oil in them also eliminate dandruff (Organic Health Invigorating Tea Tree Oil Shampoo + FREE Invigorating Tea Tree Oil Conditioner).My girlfriend uses this type of shampoo and I also use it from time to time. I don't know about the dandruff part (thanks to head & shoulders) but I use to get pimples on my head and hair-line and that tea tree stuff made them completely go away. Never would have used it if it wasn't more my g.f.

A few years ago, when I started noticing a dandruff problem, I began using Denorex shampoo (the coal-tar formula). The Denorex definitely solved the dandruff problem, but I was never really comfortable with the tingling sensation it produced and the fact that it didn't seem to get my hair as clean as I wished (still leaving "greasy" hair after showering).So, on one trip to my local department store, I picked up a bottle of Head & Shoulders Dandruff Shampoo: Classic Clean, and have never wavered from it. Not only does this product completely eliminate my dandruff, but it also leaves my hair feeling light and clean without any strange tingling sensations.I cannot vouch for any of Head and Shoulders' other formulas, but I can say that the Classic Clean is wonderful for me. If you are struggling with Dandruff and don't like the idea of a product as powerful as Denorex on your head every day, give this shampoo a try.

I am not big on writing reviews, but I do try to contribute here and there, because reviews are a tremendous deciding factor for me whether I buy a product or not. Thank you to all of you who submit honest heart felt reviews. Now for the Head and Shoulders, I Love the Classic Clean scent, I Love the size of this pump bottle and the price I ordered it at was wonderful. I also wanted to add a little bit of information, I like to let my facial hair grow a little from time to time, but once the hair got of a little length my face would itch, my wife had seen or read somewhere that is actually face dander, and the article said to shampoo your face when shampooing your hair, it actually works my face has not itched since. I know it sounds simple, but who would of thought? Hope this helps someone. I also encourage everyone to submit a review from time to time. Great product..
