I have a family history of eczema, psoriasis, and dandruff. Dry skin runs as rampant in our family as our dark hair. Double whammy, eh? Brunettes with dandruff!If you need decent control (but not prescription-control) of your flakes and itchy scalp, please try this shampoo. This isn't your light and fluffy dandruff shampoos with pretty scents. I laugh at Herbal Essence and other brands touting an "Anti-Dandruff" shampoo. Lightweights...Since high school, this has been the only dandruff shampoo that's cleared up my snowstorm in less than a week. I saw a difference in ONE washing.Yes, it has quite a medicinal smell on application BUT as your hair dries the scent evaporates. If showering with it is still too much, try this in "Clean Scent" which is way more pleasing!There are many variations of this formula these days (3% Salicylic Acid, Extra Strength, Gel formula, Itch-control, Everyday Use, etc etc) but I've stuck to Original (or the Clean Scent version) because it works. If it's not broke, why fix it? Eh? *tosses my carefree mane over my shoulder*

... and it has never let me down. I have baaad dandruff when left unchecked, painful and unsightly. Head'n'Shoulders has very little effect for me, if any at all. T-Gel, on the other hand, has it completely under control. A little goes a long way; one bottle can last a long time, and, at least in my case, I only have to use it every two or three days, so the sticker is a small price to pay for freedom from all the irritation, pain and embarrassment. A quarter-size dollop, followed by a smaller one for a 'repeat,' once every two or three days, and my horrible, horrible dandruff is 100% gone. Handled. Thing of the past. This shampoo has never let me down and it gets my five-star rating.
