I typically use use salon products but it is hard to find sulfate free shampoos since many salons do not have a large selection or carry them. Sulfate free shampoos cleans your hair naturally without all the harmful effects of sulfates. Shampoos with sulfates (sodium lauryl and laureth sulfate) can irritate the scalp, dry out your hair, strip the color and shine and can also cause your ends to split making your hair look frizzy and unruly. I am Latina and have very thick, dry and coarse hair. I am so happy I decided to try out David Babaii For WildAid Hydrating Shampoo because it is by far the best shampoo I have ever used. It has a rich creamy lather and a little bit goes a long ways. The scent is a little harsh but after it is rinsed out only a light scent is left behind. My hair comes out looking shiny, feeling soft and and most important of all - looking healthy.Besides having beautiful hair you are also helping a great cause. From every purchase, 10% of the proceeds goes to help governments and communities of the world to stop the illegal trade of wildlife. I found these products on an end cap at Sally's supply during a 1/2 price sale and loved them so much I went back to stock up. The sale is over but Amazon's prices are the same. My hair is thick, long and processed and I'm pleased with the shampoo, conditioner and mousse. All are very hydrating and don't leave my hair feeling heavy. I especially love this company for producing a product that doesn't include ingredients from boiled animal bones. I like the smell on all the products except for the hair polish. It reminds me of patchouli oil or musk. Others might love it. I don't' write reviews often enough but I really like this product.

I just ordered this shampoo because my daughter wanted the beach spray and I happened to need shampoo at that time. I tend to have problems with some shampoos irritating my scalp and making it flakey. This shampoo not only makes my hair smell good and gives it good body, it soothes my scalp.
