Has a medicinal smell and doesn't provide any noticeable volumizing effect. I bought into the not testing on animals, but frankly a product needs to deliver results first. Sadly this shampoo did not live up to its promise. Waste of money.

In addition to being cruelty-free, containing no animal products, being made in the USA, and being reasonably priced, this is an excellent product. I'm 62, and have fine, thinning hair, but this product makes my hair feel thick, full, and shiny. I also love that it has a natural, non-perfumey aroma.
