Redken Hair Cleansing Cream Shampoo 300ml 10.1ozI am a professional hairdresser and have always used this product. It is THE BEST to take any kind of build up out of your hair. Everything from hairspray, mousse, waxy conditioners, chlorine, lake water, greasy scalp conditions... I recommend using this once a week by itself. Shampoo in, add more water if no lather, don't add more product. It suds up quite nicely with warm water.Also- follow up with a good deep conditionerRedken Extreme Rescue Force-For a more intense cleansing: shampoo in then wrap your head in plastic wrap or a plastic shower cap. Hold your hair dryer on for about 5 minutes. You will be AMAZAZED how squeaky clean and shiny your hair is.Especially if you use products such as vo5, rave, suave, pantene.. those products have wax in them. They also cause scalp conditions. High alkalinity and are high in alcohol!

I'm African-American with relaxed hair. I was looking for a good chelating-clarifying shampoo to help remove the buildup on my hair. After hours of reviewing (I'm very picky about what I put in my hair), I chose this one. Now it's no miracle product, but it did what it was suppposed to do, which was clean my hair. My hair felt very clean but most importantly not stripped. I was very scared that my hair would be left a dry, tangled mess, but it wasn't. However I did pre-condition my hair with coconut oil, which may have helped, and I also washed my hair a second time with a moisturizing shampoo. I will use this product again in the future when I feel my hair needs a good cleansing.

i bought both the redken extreme shampoo and conditioner along with this cream shampoo because of the very hard water i have to use. i use it weekly, and my hair is always shiny and squeaky clean after use.
