I recieved a bottle of this as a sample, yes a whole bottle, from a big name dept store ( in texas) via my mother. the first time i tried it, well i was impressed. i have used so many different shampoos and this was excellent for my color treated, fine, straight hair. I did use another type of phyto and it was thin and watery, didnt' do the trick for me. the shampoo has a unique scent and may not be appealing to some. it reminded me more of a chocolate based scent and not citrus as described.very little shampoo is needed and can be used daily. so for the price it is right up there on economy. don't let the size of teh bottle fool you.

Every time I go to get my hair done, no matter the place, I always feel that they push their products on me. Sometimes I purchase, sometimes I don't. I never really think it makes too much of a difference. Until now. I went to a new place to get my hair colored. I have blonde hair, and had light blonde hi-lites and darker golden blonde lo-lites in my hair. It ended up being very expensive for the whole process, and the hair dresser really wanted me to use this shampoo to lock in the color, even if it meant buying the sample size. So I did. She said three washes should lock in the color. And sure enough, when the sample was used up, and I went to my store bought shampoo, my hair color was immediately different! All the great depth and dimension that I had was gone, and my hair color washed out to one blonde. Hard to believe that I really needed to spend the $$$ on quality shampoo, but there was the proof! I will purchase this shampoo in the future to lock in that salon color.

For several years I have used Phytocitrus Shampoo for color-treated hair. This product leaves my hair shiny and beautiful, and I receive many compliments to that effect. My color keeps it's depth and shine from application to application. I also love the citrus scent. It's aromatherapy in the shower! I highly recommend this product.
