I purchased this shampoo after reading a recommendation on [....] with a serious need for a moisturizing shampoo. I began using this shampoo on my medium length natural hair as apart of a new routine. This shampoo lathered easily and really got my scalp clean (which is very important to me because my hair was long, curly, and thick). Since then I've had to cut off about 4 inches because of pervious damage, but the shampoo leaves my hair generally moisturized without feeling stripped. And I liked it before and after my major trim. While shampooing I can now see a definate curl pattern and can easily detangle. I do like this shampoo paired with Shikai Intensive Repair Conditioner that I mix with equal parts olive oil and organic local honey. I don't care for the smell so much, but it doesn't linger. I've used lots of shampoo's and this is by far my favorite.

Very moisturizing. A small amount makes lots of lather. Don't get it in your eyes, it burns, don't get it in your mouth, tastes ugly. Very strong.
