(NOTE: THIS REVIEW IS FOR THE COMPANION SHAMPOO AND CONDITIONER PRODUCTS) My hair has always been my "trademark", and I have recieved frequent compliments for decades. I am now over 50, and have fine hair--but LOTS of it, worn in long layers to mid-back, with good body and a wavy texture. I have a patch of grey hair in a streak from one temple, so I have "helped" my hair to continue to be my natural honey-blonde color: both of which result in areas of my hair that are much drier than the rest. As I am no longer excessively oily...I am finding I needed to reinvent my hair care strategies...and especially need to prevent frizziness and protect the health of the longer lengths and ends. This shampoo and conditioner is the BEST hair care team in my arsenal of products. I no longer shampoo daily...but when I do, I focus on the roots...and I follow with the conditioner on the lower half of my strands, and leave it in while I complete the rest of my shower routine. This product cleans my hair without unecessary stripping of moisture, and the conditioner leaves the texture of my hair sleek, and I have NO split ends!! My hair responds better to blow-drying, and remains frizz free and manageable for two to three days...and the fresh scent lasts as well. I do rotate in other products...but this is my "go to" duo for "best hair" days. I do occaisionally (once or twice a week) use a pre-shampoo hot coconut oil treatment, and I always use a "leave in" conditioning treatment on the dry areas and ends of my hair. (Currently my favorite is a dime size amount of an Argan oil product to my damp hair--dry areas and lower half of longer strands and ends--just before blow drying). That's it...with this care, my hair is as good as it was twenty years ago...and I'm STILL "the girl with the hair".
