I've tried many shampoos over the years, cheaper and more expensive than this. This is my long term favorite and I've been loyal to this stuff for years now. I have not found the great combination of cleaning, conditioning, pleasant smell, and price from any other product. My hair tends to be dry with daily washing and yet I like to wash it every day. The deep conditioning in this is just right and keeps my hair looking great every day. I lather up my hair first, leave it in for the duration of my shower, and then rinse. It's too bad that this is not available in the large size at too many stores. I usually order from Amazon or go to W**mart for this.

I have naturally curly hair that easily gets dry & frizzy. This shampoo is the greatest! But for the BEST conditioning effect-shampoo your hair first & LEAVE it ON the whole time you are in the shower, rinsing it out as the last thing you do... This will leave you hair silky & conditioned, even better than those high priced salon shampoo & conditioner treatments. I am a former cosmetologist and cosmetology instructor. I have never seen a retail product work like this!

I use to think all shampoos were the same until I read a article and review in Consumer Reports magazine. Pert was list as the best shampoo. Also buying it as a 4 pack makes is much cheaper then buying in a store. Once again I get a better deal at Amazon.
