I have always been a fan of Dove's products, and this is no exception. I'm not really sure how to characterize my own hair, and I've never delved deeply into hair care per se, as I've always used whatever shampoo or soap my mom bought (when I was younger).I guess the best way to describe this shampoo is this: After washing, my hair doesn't feel oily, the scalp feels clean, and it stays that way for at least 12 hours until my next wash. (The time scale is probably a function of my own body, not the shampoo.) Oh, and not to mention it smells great too!

OK, I know this is a shampoo but we also use it in the shower as we would the Dive body soap. Maybe a it more expensive than soap but it's also one less bottle to crash down form the holder onto your feet. And it works well at both tasks. No strong odor or perfume sent.
