I have two-year-old girls with very long, thick hair. We had been using the Johnson's No More Tangles, but I found myself pulling out my own bottle of conditioner to use on them at bath time, because every hair-brushing had become a battle with two crying toddlers. I decided to try the Suave, and I've been very happy with it. I've not had to use my own conditioner on them since I started with the Suave 2-in-1.The shampoo also smells fruity, which is nice for a kid -- they get a kick out of sniffing them. The four-pack has been surprisingly nice because the kids like to choose which scent to use each time. As a bonus, the shampoo is *very* bubbly. In fact it works better than the toddler bubble bath we bought -- no more need to buy that separately. The downside of the bubbly-ness is that the shampoo doesn't rinse out too easily (and probably never does rinse out completely, given that they splash and dump water over themselves even after I've rinsed). But that hasn't been a problem at all -- it doesn't seem to leave a noticeable residue and in fact probably keeps conditioning their hair a bit.It's not the cheapest option out there, but I'll probably buy it again someday, when I finally run through all four bottles.

We've tried Mango Outburst and Cowabunga Coconut and both have WONDERFUL scents and really do condition the hair quite well as opposed to ones without a conditioner in them!Mango Outburst is my personal favorite and I wish they had a spray detangler out in that scent! (I still have to use a spray detangler - the dutch apple suave one actually), but this shampoo really does cut down a lot of the tangles!

My daughter uses these because this is what I buy her. I get them because she is just now starting to take showers on her own and sometimes she will get into the shower and just get her hair wet and not wash her hair. The smells of these let me know if she washed her hair or not and if she did a good job, then its easy to brush through because of the 2 in 1 action as well. She has long enough hair that not using a detangler of some sort is out of the question.
