As someone that uses natural shampoos that don't have the drug store chemicals in them, I was pleased with this shampoo. It does not have a big lather, so the trick is spreading it evenly throughout hair and not just using a small circle on the top of head and expecting it to spread throughout. Use a couple of small squirts into your hand and then lather before putting on your child's hair to get the most out of it.The bottles felt pretty small, they're 8 ounces, so if your child squirts any into the tub you will be empty quickly. The price is comparative to other natural product brands.It smells nice and subtle and your child's hair will smell clean and refreshing. It did not burn my son when it got in his eyes.The little whale on the packaging is cute.Overall: Happy with purchase. Would use again, however I'm not going to rush out and purchase again.

I use this shampoo on my 3 year old daughter and my 1 year old son. Daughter has very thick, wavy hair past her shoulders. When I started using this product her hair was very long, past her mid-back.I am pleased with the ingredients in the shampoo; very safe and doesn't contain harsh chemicals.I love the smell. Daughter tends to get a little sweaty and all other shampoo fragrances have clashed with her own scent but this one does not. The smell is very light and clean, not at all overpowering. The smell actually mostly goes away after the hair is dry and it just smells clean. I worried a little about the scent before I bought it but am pleased. Son has short boy hair and this also works well for him. It really is tear free.We also use the corresponding conditioner and it works very well. I shopped around for quite some time and tried out several different shampoos/conditioners before the Jason line and I wish I had just tried this first. We wash hair a few times a week and the bottle has lasted a 2-3 months. I have nothing negative to say about it and I would recommend it to friends with children. Great price for high quality and versatile - can use on long, short, thick, thin, curly, straight, all types of hair. I am just waiting now for Jason to come out with a detangling spray for refreshing that crazy bed head.

This shampoo is really good.It did untangle my daughter's hair and also made it easier to brush.I also use the Men's Jason product for myself.
